Google hints at Twitter tie-up
Google co-founder Larry Page has admitted the search engine needs to learn from social networking site Twitter, while chief executive Eric Schmidt hinted that a strategic partnership between the two was under discussion. Speaking at the annual Google Zeitgeist conference, Schmidt said that Google could work with Twitter without having to buy it and hinted that Twitter feeds could be indexed on Google.
