Hair-raising Donald Trump Halloween wigs are selling out already

Presidential wannabe Donald Trump may have fallen in the opinion polls, but there is one place where his star is still rising – which is mainly down to his famous hair.

It seems US shoppers are tapping up Trump for Halloween inspiration, with US retailers reporting that wigs inspired by the businessman, Apprentice host and potential future US President's idiosyncratic style are already a sellout.

“We’ve sold more Trump wigs than ever before,” said maxwigs.com president Ray Lenci of its $29 Donald Trump Deluxe wig, speaking to MarketWatch. So in demand is the buoyant bouffant that customers are demanding rush shipping and the style already needs to be restocked.

The same goes for halloweencostumes.com and voguewigs.com, which are both having to restock the wigs way ahead of the usual Halloween shopping schedule.

If you're looking for a hair-raising Halloween costume, you'd better order soon…
