Hamilton wary of Alonso
FORMULA ONE: Lewis Hamilton believes his former McLaren team-mate Fernando Alonso is his closest rival for the world championship.
Alonso moved up to third in the championship standings with victory in Italy last time round and lies just 16 points behind Hamilton and 21 drift of leader Mark Webber ahead of this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix.
“Fernando seems to be [the main threat] because Ferrari have really stepped up their game,”?Hamilton said.
