Homes in “UK’s tallest residential tower” go on sale in Canary Wharf and other new homes on the market this week

Spire, Canary Wharf

Apartments in the UK’s “tallest residential tower” on the cusp of Canary Wharf went on sale yesterday. Rising to 771ft with 67 storeys, it cost Chinese developer Greenland Group £800m to build adjacent to West India Quay DLR station and the Museum of London Docklands. There will be 861 one to three bedroom apartments in total once the skyscraper is finished at the end of 2020, and residents will have access to private gardens, roof terraces and a club and spa on the 35th floor with views over the Docklands.

Long & Waterson, Shoreditch

New homes are being released onto the market this month a 15 minute walk away from the City. Named for its location on the corner of Long Street and Waterson Street, it comprises two refurbished workshops from the 50s and a new building, connected by a raised residents’ garden that’s inspired by New York’s High Line. In total, there will be 119 one to four bedroom apartments. Hoxton and Old Street Underground stations are also under a ten minute walk away.

Pinnacle N10, Muswell Hill

Six family homes in the first new housing development in Muswell Hill town centre for over 40 years went on sale yesterday. The four bedroom houses are part of the Pinnacle N10 project, which will include 28 homes, commercial space and a specialist school for children with cerebral palsy. Originally a nightclub, school and a car park, the site has been transformed by developer SAS Investments with architects pH+. Due to be finished by the end of the year, 60 per cent of the apartments sold before they were built.

Chapter Street, Pimlico

Two new show homes have been unveiled to showcase 31 new apartments in west London. The one to three bedroom homes have been developed by Barratt London a five minute walk away from Pimlico station and a ten minute walk away from Victoria station with its links to the Underground, National Rail and Gatwick Airport. Designed by EPR architects, the homes are set in a conversion of a Regency building in art deco style with a Portland Stone facade.
