Irish Hennessy delayed
The Irish Hennessy Gold Cup will take place this Saturday after theweekend’s meeting at Leopardstown was postponed. Several Cheltenham Festival hopefuls, including Joncol, were set to feature but heavy rain meant the card was called off following inspection. Course manager Tom Burke said: “In total we’ve had 17mm [of rain] since Saturday afternoon, which is more than we were able to cope with.”
