Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn to address centrist Labour group Progess
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn is to appeal to some of his harshest critics as he speaks to a centrist Labour group today in an attempt to build bridges within the party and focus frustrations on the Conservatives.
Corbyn will address members of Progess, including a number of MPs, in central London today.
In the speech Corbyn is expected to place blame on the Tories for housing, jobs and the NHS, ushering those in his party to avoid putting wrongs down to the EU.

Corbyn will say: "People in this country face many problems, from insecure jobs, low pay and unaffordable housing to stagnating living standards, environmental degradation, and the responsibility for them lies in 10 Downing Street, not in Brussels.
"This country is being let down by a Conservative government that is failing on housing, failing our children, failing our NHS, failing to create good quality secure jobs and consistently failing even to meet its own economic targets."
Progress was founded by Lord Peter Mandelson to promote New Labour, and has been addressed by former leaders Ed Miliband, Gordon Brown and Tony Blair. The group backed Liz Kendall in last year's leadership contest.
