Lara Bohinc has mastered the world of women’s accessories. Over the years her designs have adorned the likes of Michelle Obama and Cheryl Cole, propelling her from fashion’s best-kept secret to one of the most sought after accessories designers in the UK. Now she’s branching out and spreading the love to men, too.

This month she announced the launch of a men’s division, starting with a capsule collection of cufflinks and by the sounds of things, the move was a natural progression. “We always had a lot of men as our customers, mainly buying presents for women in their life but they often asked us if we had something for them as well,” says Bohinc. “Our designs are very versatile so they can easily be translated into men’s jewellery and accessories. We started with cufflinks to test the territory.”

The six-piece range includes subtle designs like her eye cufflinks, which feature a single conical shaped black onyx eye, available in either sterling silver or 18ct yellow gold, and bold options like the Apollo, which comes with graphic, masculine lines crafted from sterling silver.

This is only the beginning of what she has in store. “We will expand the range with leather goods, card holders, iPod and iPad cases,” she says.

The collection is available at larabohinc.com and prices start at £210
