Maintain the fitness regime by getting stylish in the gym

BE honest. Have your new year’s resolutions to eat less and go to the gym more really taken shape? If not, and you’re having trouble getting into the mood for exercise, surely a few beautiful pieces of delicious kit would do the trick. Our favourite shops are loaded with delicious hoodies and tops for either a good run outside, a vigorous yoga session or a heavy workout at the gym.

Good materials that will keep you warm or cool in the right measure are the key: sweating into horrid fabric is enough to put anyone off. And feeling self-conscious doesn’t help either. Here are some ideas.

1 Run cotton-jersey hooded top, Adidas by Stella McCartney, £87, www.netaporter.com

2 Women’s thatch hoodie, £85, uk.thenorthface.com

3 Classic trackpant (100% cotton), Pineapple Studios, £27, www.pineapple.uk.com

4 Compression 7/8 tight, £95, www. sweatybetty.com

5 Dynamic mover vest, £65, www.sweatybetty.com

6 Stretch cotton track pants, Splendid, £110, www.netaporter.com

7 Women’s alkiline trainer, £99, uk.thenorthface.com
