Woody Allen is headhunted by Amazon

Amazon Studios yesterday announced it has signed deal with Woody Allen for the critically-acclaimed director to write and direct his first ever television series.

Amazon has signed a half-hour series (named Untitled Woody Allen Project) for a whole season, with customers able to watch the episodes on Amazon’s prime instant video in the UK, US and Germany.
