NO MAUR TENNIS FOR AMELIE
FORMER Wimbledon champion Amelie Mauresmo has called time on her career at the age of 30, admitting: “I don’t want to train any more.” The French former world No1 triumphed at both SW19 and the Australian Open in 2006 but has not played since this year’s US Open. She said yesterday: “It’s a bit sad, but this is the right decision. I was lucky enough to have an exceptional career.”
