WILTON’S SUMMER FESTIVAL
One of London’s most magnificent and historic music venues, Wilton’s Music Hall is playing host to all sorts of musical and theatrical diversions this summer. As well as an eclectic comedy programme for the London Comedy Festival, there will be live music, illusionists, contortionists, films and cabaret artists, all falling under the collective title of the Anthropomorphic Summer Festival. Oh, and there are ping pong tournaments too. Until 9 Sept. For details and tickets www.wiltons.org.uk.

FRENCH JAZZ AND STYLE IN SPITALFIELDS
The Market Coffee House, the atmospheric restaurant and cafe in Spitalfields, has of late become home to some of London’s most enjoyable music nights, thanks to house band Les Effrontes. Led by brilliant multi-instrumentalist Robin Harris, the group breathes fresh life into the works of Brel, Piaf and Gainsbourg – expect to find yourself singing along, red wine in hand. Friday night, 7.30-11pm. www.marketcoffeehouse.com

SOUL ON THE ROOF TERRACE
If you prefer your music al fresco, head to the roof terrace of One New Change next week, where soul singer Natalie Williams (left) will be headlining a three-day mini-festival for charity. Thursday and Saturday nights are free, while Friday’s £10 fee includes a cocktail and nibbles. To book tickets, go to www.onenewchange.com
