EASTER EGG HUNT WITH A DIFFERENCE
It may not be difficult to spot the giant eggs laid out in the Jubilee Gardens beside the London Eye, but to see them all – and the little chick that’s apparently hatched from one of them early – kids need to see them from above, by taking a trip on the Eye. They’ll be given maps to fill out, and if they spot them all, may be able to win an annual family pass for Merlin Entertainments (which runs the Eye, as well as Alton Towers, Madame Tussauds and Legoland among others) worth £800.

RETURN OF THE GOAT RACE
If the idea of American’s with Oxbridge scholarships doesn’t really enthuse you this weekend, there’s a fun alternative in Spitalfields – the second annual Goat Race. Taking place on Spitalfields Farm and raising money for charity, the race (between two goats named Oxford and Cambridge, natch) will include bookies, sweepstakes and other, erm, goat-themed entertainment.
