ARCADIA AT DUKE OF YORK’S THEATRE
Tom Stoppard’s unforgettable 1993 drama wittily looks at life, mathematics and, well, everything. Set in a country house in both 1809-11 and 1989, it consistently and wittily catches at two ends of the same stick, be it Fermat’s Theorem or a paperweight. David Leveaux’s production is right on the money – this is one of summer’s must-sees. Until 12 September, tickets £15-£49.50; Duke of York’s Theatre, St Martin’s Lane, WC2N 4BG.

DOUGH YOUR OWN PIZZA AT PONTI’S
There’s nothing quite like DIY food, particularly the satisfying feeling of getting stuck into a mound of dough. At Ponti’s the chef will show you how to make your own pizza, which will be cooked in the wood-burning stove and served to you in the restaurant, alongside a glass of Prosecco and a choice of Italian ice-cream, all for £15. Ponti’s Italian Kitchen, 5-7 John Princes Street, W1M 9HD, to book call 020 3230 3018.

REJUVENATION MENU AT TEXTURE
This Icelandic restaurant’s Rejuvenation Menu, launched this summer as an antidote to the gloomy winter months, should make your body sing with well-being. Ingredients are selected for their ability to combat fatigue and refresh the body. Look out for Faroe Isle cod with avocado, squid and artichokes and Icelandic skyr with strawberries. Five courses for £39.50, 34 Bryanston St, W1H 7BY. Tel: 020 7224 0028.
