Paris terror attacks: Belgium police find possible bomb factory in Brussels during December raid
Belgian police have found an apartment in Brussels where they believe explosives used in the Paris terror attacks were manufactured.
Traces of explosive acetone peroxide and handmade belts were found in a dawn raid at the apartment in the district of Schaerbeek on 10 December, prosecutors said in a statement on Friday.
The finding adds more weight to suggestions that the attacks, in which 130 people lost their lives, were at least partially planned in Belgium. So far, two of the attackers had been living in Brussels, and Belgian authorities have arrested 10 people.

It's thought the apartment had been rented out under a false name which could have been used by a person who is currently being held in custody in connection with the attacks on November 13.
Investigators currently think the explosives were packed into suicide belts in a hotel outside Paris in the lead-up to the attacks, according to the Belgian newspaper De Standaard.
