PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel will be a delegate for Donald Trump
Billionaire PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel is listed on the California ballot as a delegate for Donald Trump.
The Silicon Valley giant was one of more than 165 names submitted to the California Secretary of State's office on Monday by Trump's campaign.

Thiel, who owns a stake in Facebook, is on the ballot as a Republican delegate for Trump in the 12th congressional district, in San Francisco.
Thiel is a libertarian and Republican donor, having donated substantially to Ron Paul's Super Pac in 2012.

With Trump's last two rivals – Ted Cruz and John Kasich – having dropped out of the race, the billionaire is the presumptive Republican nominee, meaning Thiel will near certainly be elected in California's primary on 7 June.
Still, Trump has been struggling to unite the wider Republican party ahead of the also near certain head-to-head with Hillary Clinton later this year.
