PGA distances itself from Donald Trump following Mexican rapist comments
If Donald Trump ever pens an account of his bid for the Republican presidential nomination, "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People" might be a book title worth borrowing.

The eccentric billionaire and golf lover has now found that he may not even find friends out on the green after the Professional Golfer's Association of America (PGA) moved to distance itself from recent controversial comments about Mexican immigrants.
TV companies NBC and Univision and retailer Macy's have already cut ties with two of Trump's companies following the outrage caused to his referral of Mexican immigrants as "rapists" in his announcement speech last month.
Following the backlash, Trump said he didn't expect any repercussions from the golfing world, saying: "I've had tremendous support from the golf world, because they all know I'm right. I've been great to golf. I've been investing while everybody else was fleeing."
His comments prompted a response from the PGA that begged to differ:
In response to Mr. Trump's comments about the golf industry 'knowing he is right' in regards to his recent statements about Mexican immigrants, we feel compelled to clarify that those remarks do not reflect the views of our organizations.
While the LPGA, PGA of America, and PGA Tour and USGA do not usually comment Presidential politics, Mr. Trump's comments are inconsistent with our strong commitment to an inclusive and welcoming environment in the game of golf.
