Premier Foods, who own a number of household food brands, have today announced the appointment of Alastair Murray as executive director and chief financial officer from the end of September.
Premier Foods brands include Hovis, Bisto, Lloyd Grossman, Oxo cubes, Homepride sauces, Sharwoods, Saxa salt and Smash.
They also make Cadbury's cakes and chocolate spread.
Murray commented:
I'm delighted to be joining the Premier Foods team. After a difficult period, the Company has turned a corner and I'm looking forward to being a part of the next stages of its transformation. Given my background, I'm confident this will be a seamless transition.
