YOO ARE GOING TO MUMBAI
Yoo, the design brand, has launched a new development in Mumbai. The project is Jade Jagger’s first in India. It is set to comprise 452 apartments of two, three and four bedrooms as well as duplex sky villas spread across four towers. It is scheduled for completion in 2013.

RENTS GO UP THANKS TO BORIS BIKES
Landlords in East London are set to benefit from the 5 per cent boost to rent that a London cycle hire docking station brings, says Ludlow Thompson, a lettings agent. The cycle hire scheme will be extended further into east in time for the Olympics, to include places like North Shoreditch, Bethnal Green, Bow and Mile End.

PRICES LOOKING UP IN COSTA DEL SOL
Ignacio Osle of Taylor Wimpey España says: “First quarter enquiries made by foreign buyers at our office in the Costa del Sol have gone up by 43 per cent.” If Osle is to be believed, the south of Spain is a bargain. Prices are still 36 per cent cheaper than they were in 2007.

BEWARE OF HIGH SPEED RAIL
Homeowners are unwittingly buying properties that may be blighted by high-speed rail, says property search company Searchflow. Local Authorities are only obliged to inform buyers within a 200-metre radius of the route. Searchflow believe this will wipe £97m off the 4,700 surrounding homes.
