Rowan has fire
Rowan Williams [Why the Archbishop has got it wrong, Wednesday] only gets the chance to get heard nationally when the opportunity is afforded to him. The media will publish a heated political perspective but would they allow a regular briefing on day-to-day morality or spiritual growth? Unlikely. I look forward to a bit of left-wing fire from Rowan. At the very least he’s interesting.

Isn’t financial literacy [We need to teach financial literacy in all UK schools, Wednesday] something that – like the ins and outs of sex and relationships – really needs to be taught by parents? I don’t recall mine teaching me much about one and they certainly didn’t teach me anything about money management – which is probably why I still have a lot to learn on both fronts.
