The treatment: The Well-Being treatment (75 mins, £90) begins with you being cocooned in blankets in a quiet, darkened room. Starting at the right shoulder, the massage therapist then works through the body’s joints and muscles, stretching and rotating them to clear out tension. You’re then wrapped in blankets again and gently rocked from side to side, like a baby. Round it off with a cleansing facial and an Indian head massage, and you’ll be stupendously chilled out, if you’re not sound asleep.
The alternative: The Ice Facial (60 mins, £75) is perfect for pepping up the skin and senses, and a good hangover cure too.

The treatment: A bit of mummification can be the perfect thing for relaxing and soothing overworked muscles, toning up the body and revitalising the skin. With the Musclease AromaSpa Ocean Wrap (55 minutes, £75), you’ll be slathered in seaweed and wrapped up in foil. While the seaweed and essential oils do their work, you can enjoy a pressure point facial massage and de-stress scalp treatment.
The alternative: The Elemis Urban Cleanse facial (55 minutes, £65) will get those pores unblocked and the skin refreshed and protected.

The treatment: The Hot Stone massage (90 mins, £110) is aimed to relax both muscles and mind. You’ve seen the photos in which people have pebbles laid across their back – there’s actually rather more to it. The massage is delivered with oiled, heated stones that are used to glide over the body at different pressures, while stones lying on the body create concentrated centres of heat.
The alternative: The Spring Awakening treatment (60 mins, £70) is a seasonal stress-buster involving a rejuvenation facial followed by an Indian head massage.
