Budget Irish airline Ryanair has today launched a corporate jet charter service, aiming to capitalise on growing demand for chartered jets.

"We are pleased to launch our corporate jet hire service with our newly customised Boeing 737-700, seating up to 60 passengers, on business class, reclining, leather seats, crewed by Ryanair’s industry leading pilot and cabin crew professionals," sid Ryanair's Robin Kiely.

Earlier this year it was reported that private jet usage is set to take off in London, following the roll out of membership schemes that allow people to make use of jets without owning them.

Meanwhile, Jet financing firm Global Jet Capital and self styled Airbnb of the private jet market Stellar Labs will both launch in the UK in 2016.
