Travel chaos as Southeastern services between London Cannon Street and London Bridge cancelled, delayed and revised
Commuters, brace yourselves: Southeastern services between Cannon Street and London Bridge are being cancelled, delayed or revised until at least 7pm because of a signalling problem somewhere on the line.
The issue surfaced at around 4pm this afternoon, with Southeastern saying it was working with Network Rail to rectify the problem as quickly as possible. "However we have to run fewer trains to enable Network Rail access to problem and give them enough time to correct it," the train operator said.
"Some services will be diverted to London Victoria and starting from London Victoria, passengers who are after London Bridge and London Cannon Street are able to use their tickets on London Underground services via any reasonable route between London Victoria, London Bridge and London Cannon Street until further notice," it added.

Trains that were scheduled to run from Cannon Street to Ramsgate are leaving from Blackfriars or Elephant & Castle, while services from Cannon Street to Hastings are moving over to Victoria.
However the revised timetable isn't leaving much slack for commuters to travel to the alternative starting point. Like this handy timetable change, which gave commuters one whole minute to get from Cannon Street to Elephant & Castle.

Trains coming into London appear to be cancelled or heavily delayed.

Southeastern reminded commuters that they may be entitled to compensation "for a portion of your fare" if the journey is delayed by more than 30 minutes.
