Southern rail services subject to delays and cancellations due to fire next to track at Streatham
Commuters using Southern rail services should be prepared for delays, alterations and cancellations after a fire next to the track at Streatham.
The rail operator closed all its lines earlier this morning, following the fire.

While services are now back up and running, they are still subject to delays and cancellations.

National Rail warned that "congestion has built up and trains through the station are subject to cancellation and delays of up to 30 minutes". The disruption is expected to continue until 12pm.
Meanwhile, Southern has also warned passengers that due to a technical glitch, live train running info displayed online and at stations may be incorrect.

The problems on Southern's network follow another fire earlier this morning which has hit services in and out of London Marylebone, with trains expected to be disrupted until the end of tomorrow.
And the disruption comes one day after Southern tried to launch a slightly misjudged "Let's strike back" campaign, asking commuters to tweet at the RMT union sharing their feelings on rail strikes.
However, the PR stunt backfired when Southern customers took the opportunity to tweet back at the company with complaints about its service.
