Flintoff not focused on Australia
CRICKET: Andrew Flintoff is refusing to discuss playing Twenty20 cricket in Australia until he recovers from his long-running knee injury.

Flintoff has been linked with bids from Queensland, Tasmania and Victoria, but the former England captain says he is focusing solely on returning to county cricket with Lancashire in August.

Westwood looks to luck change
GOLF: New world No3 Lee Westwood is hoping the change of layout at Wentworth will give him a change of luck in the BMW PGA Championship this week.

Westwood has not missed a flagship tournament since his debut in 1994, but aside from finishing second to Colin Montgomerie in 2000, he has made the cut only twice.

“I can never really figure it out, but some courses just don’t fit your eye sometimes,” Westwood admitted.

The Jamaican recorded a time of 9.86secs at the Daegu Pre Championships in South Korea to win by a full 0.29secs.
