Starbucks lets you order coffee via mobile app in London stores
Londoners rejoice, no longer will you have to queue for a coffee – in Starbucks at least.
The coffee chain is introducing a new service which will let you order your cup of joe via mobile, meaning you can avoid having to queue with everyone else and just pick it up when you walk in.
After a trial in one secret location last year and a roll out to all US cities earlier this month, now mobile ordering is coming to all London stores from Thursday.
Coffee drinkers will be able to place their orders simply by using the Starbucks app.
Starbucks executives have been openly ambitious about the plans to bring the service to everyone and get more people using mobile payment. The app can already be used to pay in store.
