Stoke back in for Spurs duo
STOKE CITY have made a final offer to Spurs in their ambitious attempts to complete the double signing of England striker Peter Crouch and midfielder Wilson Palacios. “We’ve made our last bid. The ball is in their court. We shall not be negotiating from where we are,” said Stoke chairman Peter Coates. “The last conversation I had with Spurs, we had not agreed anything. We’ll see what happens, but we haven’t got any further.”
