Styris leads Kiwis home
CRICKET: Scott Styris smashed 49 from 34 balls to help New Zealand to a two-wicket win over Australia in Napier to open up a 1-0 series lead.
Mike Hussey (59) and Shane Watson (45) helped Australia to 275-8 from their 50 overs.
Stand-in captain Ross Taylor then smashed 70 to keep to Kiwis in the hunt before Styris wrapped up victory with a match-winning six in the final over.
