Arguably nothing was travelling better than him two furlongs out and he did little wrong after that to finish a close second to the highly-progressive Pendleton.
Silvestre de Sousa has chosen to ride him over Stone Of Destiny and he looks the play at 8/1.

Despite going up five pounds for his win at York on his penultimate start, Copper Knight is still very well-handicapped on his old form, while Only Spoofing was a very taking winner of a Navan handicap last time and could still be improving.
