I’m really looking forward to the Breeders’ Cup and the Europeans have outstanding chances in a number of championship races. Pounced looks to have a great opportunity in the Juvenile Turf tomorrow night, but I'm not sure if he really is in the same league as Donativum who won this for the same stable last year. Aidan O'Brien holds plenty of aces with his two-year-olds and Viscount Nelson should run in to a place, but I think the first will go to the home team. BRIDGETOWN has looked good in both of his wins and can make up for near misses in 2000 and 2001 for trainer Kenneth McPeek.

GLADIATORUS (e/w) has at times looked a wonder horse and he has been rated as such, but he has occasionally failed to fire, yet tomorrow in the Mile I have a strange feeling that this could be his moment. I love Goldikova, but I fear the draw may have busted her chances of winning back to back Breeders’ Cups, part of me will hope I’m wrong.

The Classic does look an absolute classic! Mine That Bird won the Kentucky Derby, Summer Bird won the Belmont, Twice Over the Champion Stakes and Zenyatta has won everything put in front of her, but I'm going to be backing RIP VAN WINKLE to underline what a great horse he is and what a brilliant champion Sea The Stars was.
