With no all-weather tomorrow and only one poor betting race declared over the jumps, I will be backing just the one horse over the next couple of days. FREDDIE’S GIRL runs in Lingfield’s 4.10pm this afternoon and this More Than Ready (USA) filly has got plenty of pace and should have enough to hold on from the other five runners. Just be observant though as she has an outside draw and we wouldn’t want to miss the break or be in a dingdong battle for the lead. If we are, you might want to consider laying her in running on Betdaq. A very fast pace and Areeda might be the one to have a saver on at the home turn.
The only other bet for the weekend is HARLEQUINS to beat Worcester Warriors at the Stoop tomorrow afternoon. It isn’t a great value bet but I’m sure this team has turned their back on ‘Bloodgate’ and will be able to see off what will be a spirited West Country side.
Paddy Power love special bets and I’ll be interested to see how their ‘Cheryl’s first date’ market develops over the next few weeks. I’m not tempted to back John Terry at 250/1 just yet.
