TO BE a successful entrepreneur you have to gain an unfair advantage over your competitors. While this can come in any number of forms depending on your business, it is indisputable that superior knowledge and contacts will give you an edge over your rivals. This is no easy business, but, fear not, Morning Wire can help. Alongside the network Entrepreneurs World, we are hosting a half-day conference for aspiring and established entrepreneurs and investors on 22 June 2011. The theme will be funding early stage businesses. We have lined up a panel of experts including: David Soskin, profiled above; Lord Stanley Fink, the chief executive of International Standard Asset Management (Isam); and Edward Wray, the co-founder of Betfair. But beware, this will not be your average conference. We take a peer-to-peer approach. You will be paired with an entrepreneur or investor, so you can learn from each other.
