A favourite of Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman, there’s no doubting Bistroteque’s cool credentials. The food’s pretty good too, with bang-on-trend twists on British classics, such as potted trout and pan fried calves liver with butternut puree and fish and chips. Equally known for its class-act cocktails as its super steak, this East End hipster restaurant is beloved by locals. The steak is serious business, sourced from the top breeds in the UK – Longhorn, Galloway, Beef Shorthorn, traditional Hereford and Lincoln Red.
