F1 DRIVE opens a permanent track and event space at the north London venue, blending motorsport technology with sustainable operations.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has opened a permanent Formula 1-themed attraction beneath its South Stand, offering corporate clients a combination of electric karting, professional-grade simulators and flexible event spaces. The facility, branded F1 DRIVE, marks the first time a Premier League stadium has integrated a full-scale motorsport experience into its hospitality portfolio.
The track draws inspiration from historic Formula 1 circuits and uses electric karts supported by a pit-crew team that provides real-time lap data and coaching. Adjacent to the circuit, full-motion simulators, identical to those used by professional drivers for training, allow guests to experience virtual racing without leaving the building. Two event areas flank the track: an open-plan entertainment space with bar, DJ booth and catering station, and a VIP room for up to 120 people with a private entrance, suited to breakout sessions or presentations.
The stadium achieved ISO 20121 certification from BSI in June 2024, the international standard for sustainable event management, and operates on 100 per cent renewable energy. Organisers say the certification covers every facet of event planning at F1 DRIVE, from waste management to supplier selection, aligning with Tottenham Hotspur's wider net-zero target.
Corporate hospitality in London has rebounded strongly since the pandemic, with companies prioritising experiences that combine team-building with entertainment. Stadium operators across Europe have responded by converting underused spaces into bookable venues; Twickenham and Allianz Stadium have both explored similar expansions. F1 DRIVE's differentiation lies in the motorsport IP and the simulator technology, which appeals to both enthusiasts and novices.
Bookings are open for groups of varying sizes, with pre-paid food and beverage packages available. The venue expects demand from technology, finance and professional-services firms seeking alternatives to traditional off-site events.
