Travel chaos expected for commuters as train derailment leaves London Bridge trains cancelled
Delays are expected at London Bridge station as commuters travel home, following the derailment of a freight train at Charlton.
While all lines are now reopened, National Rail has warned that trains between London Bridge and Charlton via Greenwich will be disrupted – with no trains on the route until at least 18:00.
Other delays include a wait of up to 45 minutes on journeys through New Cross, Lewisham and Deptford.
Meanwhile, trains between Lewisham and Charlton will not call at Blackheath.

Alternative arrangements have been made for passengers, with them being able to use Docklands Light Railway or London Underground services.
An hourly train shuttle service is running between Charlton and Dartford, while National Rail has advised passengers travelling between Lewisham and Greenwich to use the DLR.
A resident near the derailment took to Twitter to say that engineers were on site to deal with the issue.
