Travel warning: Piccadilly Line hit by severe delays
Severe delays are affecting the Piccadilly Line, following a signal failure.
The failure at Holloway Road has affected the entire line, just in time for the rush hour commute home.
Transport for London (TfL) has recommended people take alternative routes as its engineers work to fix the problem.

The news comes before the Piccadilly Line could be shut down by industrial action later this week.
The RMT rail union called for the strike after a “comprehensive failure by management to deliver on promised improvements” following previous action.
TfL and RMT are set to hold talks with conciliation service Acas in an effort to avoid the strikes later this week.
If those talks fail, there will be no service from 3pm Wednesday 26 September, until 3.30pm on Friday, but there will be no Night Tube that evening, with services set to stop from 10pm.
Nigel Holness, TfL’s director of network operations for London Underground, said: “We have met with the RMT leadership to identify areas where we can work together to resolve this dispute. I urge them to continue to work constructively with us so that Londoners aren’t subjected to disruption across several days next week.”
