BRITISH LIONS skipper Paul O’Connell delivered an inspirational speech before Ireland’s crushing victory over England, according to team-mate Andrew Trimble.

Irish wing Trimble revealed how O’Connell “always has something special to say” whenever they face England.

“He’s always massively motivated and that inspiration filtered through to the rest of the team. Everybody was unbelievably up for it,” Trimble said.
