Tube delays: Commuters hit by signal failure on Jubilee Line
Commuters faced severe delays on the Jubilee Line this morning after disruption threatened to play havoc with their journeys into work.

A signal failure at Waterloo led to severe delays across the entire line this morning, with Transport for London (TfL) advising passengers that their tickets are valid on London buses and the DLR.
The line was running minor delays at around 8am.
Meanwhile the Central Line was also suffering minor delays die to an issue with the track at Bethnal Green.
TfL Rail was also suffering minor delays between Liverpool Street and Shenfield due to a faulty train at Ilford, and the London Overground had no service between Sydenham and West Croydon after a signal failure.
A recent study of Tube delays placed the Jubilee as one of the best-performing lines in 2018, suffering only 64 instances of delays of 15 minutes or worse.
By contrast, the District Line suffered 198 such delays, while the Piccadilly Line counted 190.
However station closures affected the Northern Line the most last year, according to the data compiled by Casino.co.uk.

A separate study by Powwownow found that Kings Cross St Pancras is London’s most stressful station, with 1,853 minutes of delays in 2017-18.
