The UK and Poland have agreed to work together to support entrepreneurs
The UK and Poland will work together on plans to support entrepreneurs in both countries.
Prime Minister Theresa May said today that the plans would be focused on small enterprises, and boost the strong economic ties between the nations.
Bilateral trade between the UK and Poland was worth £15bn last year, and UK exports to Poland have doubled since 2006.
“Today, we have agreed to build on that solid basis of economic co-operation, with new initiatives to support small businesses,” May said today.

“For example, our governments will bring together UK and Polish entrepreneurs to help them grow their companies by sharing best practice and expertise on areas such as regulation, technology and innovation.”
Speaking after a day of meetings between British and Polish government ministers, May also reiterated her hopes of guaranteeing the rights of Poles in the UK, so long as a reciprocal deal can be reached.
In a bid to further boost ties with Poland, May also announced an annual British-Polish Civil Society Forum, which will meet for the first time in Warsaw next year, bringing together business leaders, communities, academics and journalists.
