After winning in a number of key states overnight Donald Trump has become even more likely to claim the Republican nomination, with odds shortening on him entering the White House.

In the wake of the overnight results, he's now 5/2 to be elected President, down from 3/1 yesterday, with Ladbrokes.

His odds were also cut after the bookmaker took a £14,000 wager on him to be elected.

With Betway, Trump is now just 11/4 to be the next president of the US, having been as long as 150/1 in the past.
