Vettori targets Trophy success
CRICKET: New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori insists his side only have victory in their sights when they take on Australia in the Champions Trophy final in South Africa today.
The Kiwis are the surprise package of the tournament after beating England to top Group B then securing a semi-final victory over Pakistan.
But Vettori is not yet satisfied, vowing: “Once you reach that level, you realise there is an immense desire to go all the way and I think there’s no relief in the camp. It was all about how we’re going to win tomorrow as opposed to it’s great the we’ve made it.”
