Hello sunshine: London temperatures set to soar this week
Londoners are set to bask in sunshine this week as temperatures rise to a balmy 18°C.
After a wet start to the month, the clouds have cleared and temperatures are expected to remain in the high teens throughout the week.
Tuesday will bring the week’s warmest weather, with temperatures rising to a high of 18°C, according to the Met Office.

Evenings and overnight will remain dry and clear, meaning there will be a chilly start to the day. But long sunny periods mean the warmth will return by mid-afternoon.
The clouds are forecast to return on Friday, with increased winds and showers possible over the weekend, especially during the morning.
However, the clouds should clear by lunchtime, bringing more warm weather in the afternoons.
