West Ham’s Cole fined for tweet
FOOTBALL: West Ham striker Carlton Cole has been fined and warned about his future conduct by the Football Association over comments he made on Twitter on the night of England’s match with Ghana. Cole tweeted of the large number of Ghana fans at Wembley on the night of the game: “Immigration has surrounded the Wembley premises.”
Cole was charged with improper conduct and received a £20,000 fine.
