You wait ages for one cashback card, then this company goes and launches two at once

Good news for anybody who feels like their card wallet is feeling a bit slim – Asda Money has today announced the launch of not one but two cashback credit cards.

The Cashback Credit Card will offer one per cent cash back on money spent across the Asda brands and 0.5 per cent cash back on other purchases. The Cashback Plus Credit Card will offer two per cent cash back on all Asda spend and one per cent cash back on all other purchases but has a £3 monthly fee.

"At Asda we take pride in delivering quality, straightforward products at great prices and our current cashback offering has earnt our customers over £4m in the last year alone," said Karen Harkin, head of Asda Money Credit Card. "We want all of our 19m weekly shoppers to share in these savings so we’ve refreshed our current card offering and introduced a £3 monthly fee card that gives even greater cashback benefits.

"Customers can choose which card is best for them knowing they will get cashback with both products."
