For the greatest chance of finding a date, men should head to Goldhawk Road in west London, however, where they'll find 3.8 single women to every man – the best ratio in London. West is best if men want to increase their chances of finding a date, as the single women outnumber men here more than anywhere else in the city.

Meanwhile, women should alight at Pudding Mill Lane in east London where they'll be outnumbered 4.6 to one. There's also a swell of eligible bachelors around the square mile, at Cannon Street, Monumnet and Waterloo, according to Match.com.
London's potential love hotspots was compiled by the online dating site, which studied the movements of its members across 153 London Underground stations in zones one and two using geo-location data.
The people of north London appear to be the most loved up, with the fewest singles found at Hampstead, St John's Wood and Swiss Cottage.
