The Federer versus Djokovic showdown on centre court is the richest final ever and a generous prize pot of £1.88m is going to Djokovic.

Of course, it takes much more than a day to make it to the Wimbledon final, but it would likely take you around 72 years of working the normal nine to five to pocket the same amount if you take home an average salary in the UK.

However, you might console yourself that you're on a par with a professional tennis player who gets knocked out in the first round and receives a slightly less generous cheque than a Wimbledon winner (but certainly nothing to sniff at).

Check out how you compare to Wimbledon's winners – and losers – when it comes to earnings in the tournament.

Simply type in your annual salary in the calculator below and work out just how long it would take you to earn their prize money.
