Eddie Jones made England’s first foreign head coach with contract worth more than £1.8m
Eddie Jones has become England's first foreign head coach after agreeing a four-year deal with the RFU thought to be worth in excess of £1.8m.
The Australian, who takes over in December, succeeds Stuart Lancaster who resigned after England's early exit from last month's World Cup.
"I hope to build a new team that will reflect the talent that exists within the English game. I believe the future is bright for England", said Jones.
"I'm now looking forward to working with the RFU and the players to move beyond the disappointment England suffered at the World Cup."

Jones arrives from South African franchise the Stormers, who he only joined in September after impressing with Japan at the World Cup.
The RFU are believed to have at least doubled his current £235,000 a year salary.
His CV also includes stints as Australia head coach, where he led the Wallabies to the 2003 World Cup final and a two year period as director of rugby at Saracens.
Jones' first game in charge will be England's Six Nations opener against Scotland on 6 February.
His arrival into the England set up means all four Home Nations sides are now managed by a New Zealander or Australian.
