Brussels attacks: Belgium and UK observe one minute silence in remembrance of terrorist attack victims
Belgium and Britain observed a minute's silence this morning in remembrance of the victims of yesterday's terrorist attacks in Brussels.
The silence was recognised at all UK government buildings and other public organisations and institutions were expected to follow suit.
Flags are currently flying at half-mast on Whitehall government buildings, and the Belgian flag is flying at half-mast over Downing Street.
In Brussels' Place de la Bourse, hundreds gathered for the minute's silence.

Similar demonstrations took place at official European Union buildings and at NATO headquarters in Belgium.
