Amazon Prime Now one-hour delivery comes to Wandsworth, Sutton and Merton and two-hour slots to Kingston, Croydon and Sunbury
Residents of Wandsworth, Sutton and Merton are the latest Londoners who will be able to get their hands on items they've bought on Amazon within just 60 minutes.
In addition to the new areas eligible for one hour delivery slots, Amazon's Prime Now service will also offer two-hour delivery windows to people in Kingston, Croydon and Sunbury for the first time, expanding the speedy service after opening a new Wimbledon-based fulfilment centre.
"Millions more Londoners can now enjoy ultra-fast delivery,” said Amazon UK's managing director Christopher North.

"The service is proving very popular in the capital and we’ve seen high demand on everything from essentials like bottled water, coffee and nappies to the latest must-have popular items like games consoles, toys and sports equipment – all of which are available for delivery in less than 60 minutes.”
Amazon claims its fastest ever delivery took just 12 minutes, when a Netgear Wi-Fi extender was shipped from Bow to Canary Wharf.
Since June, when Prime Now first launched, the number of postcodes eligible for the 60-minute delivery on thousands of items has increased by a fifth, while for two-hour slots it has nearly tripled. It was also expanded to Birmingham in August, the first spot outside of London.
Items from toilet paper to ice cream are available through Prime Now. The retailer is also reportedly working on plans to roll out delivery of fresh produce from local shops and restaurants. Amazon Fresh is already available in several US cities and has signed a 10-year lease on a warehouse in Surrey which was formerly owned by Tesco.
