Bedford quits Olympic position
OLYMPICS: London’s Olympic marathon organiser, David Bedford, has resigned after accusing 2012 chiefs of a lack of experience. Bedford, also the race director of the London Marathon, is upset that Locog failed to speak to locals after the East End was dropped from the marathon course in favour of a race which starts and finishes in The Mall.
