The world’s most exclusive shirt

You would expect a company called Billionaire to pull out all the stops with the launch of its new made to measure service, but the Italian menswear label still manages to surprise you with the sheer opulence of its offering. Not content with fine tailoring, it allows customers to incorporate details including wool infused with diamond fragments and buttons spelling out your initials in precious stones.

Unique options include coloured mother of pearl buttons (featuring the trademark Billionaire “B”) and a special “watch cuff” that gives access to your Rolex without having to roll up your sleeve.

While there are some pretty out-there fabrics for the bolder amongst us, there are also more traditional options, so you can update both your work and casual wardrobe. Then there is the pièce de résistance: special buttons crafted by fine Italian jeweller Stardust spelling out your initials in diamonds. You can order a full shirt’s worth or just a single statement button (if you do, we recommend your left cuff, where you can just catch a glimpse of it when you check your watch). Even the man who has everything doesn’t have one of these.

Bespoke shirts from £400, Stardust buttons from £1,300 per button, available from Billionaire Italian Couture, 9 Sloane Street, 0207 245 0096, billionairecouture.com
